Baby Birdie


I had the absolute joy of photographing Baby Birdie's 6-Month Milestone Sitter Session at The Creative Photographer in The Woodlands, TX on August 4, 2025. Baby Birdie arrived ready to show off those big beautiful blue eyes and her signature smile. As with all milestone sessions, we are working on borrowed time from our sweet baby, so I jumped right in. Mom chose her favorite 3 outfits and matching headbands and we started with our lifestyle set in the studio. The studio is fantastic for natural light and true color tones. The pale yellow and golden accents complement the studios boho vibe. Birdie was curious and playful from the start, and as you can see, we captured magic.

At RFP, we love variety! Mom was able to move Birdie into our swamp colored romper. The color matches our Newborn Nerds seamless paper. If only I had a roll on hand! I had to settle for a grey seamless option. Mental note to purchase one before next sitter session. Again this 6-Month Sitter was ALL SMILES! I'm obsessed with our lifestyle portion of the studio sitter session. I don't think I can pick a favorite.

Baby Birdie in Pink

One of my favorite moments was when Birdie pulled a flower from her set and brought it up to her face. It looked as if she was smelling it. I think that is my favorite image from that set. Baby was beginning to fade as the session was coming to an end, she would flash smiles at mom in between distant stares. I clear tale-tale sign of being DONE, as a respectful photographer, we listen to our babies. But those precious glances that were only for mom are what make milestone sessions so meaningful. When she looks back on those images, she will know that those eyes were looking at her, and those smiles were special.
